On 28 May 2026 the Regional Court of Munich I ruled that Google is directly liable for false factual claims in its AI Overviews (case 26 O 869/26, preliminary injunction, under appeal). Acting on it needs evidence: wording, date, frequency.

What we do, what we don't
- We do
Find false statements, document them, fix the cause in your own sources, measure again.
- We don't
Legal advice. Influencing third parties. Promising that a correction removes the statement from the engines.
- On its own
Yes, when there is a concrete incident. Otherwise part of the audit and of ongoing support.
Questions
Isn't a screenshot enough?
It shows what an engine told one person on one day. Against "isolated case" only documentation across many runs, with frequency and date, holds up.
Can you have the statement deleted?
No. We have no access to the engines. We find the cause, fix it where it is yours, and give you the evidence for the operator or your lawyer.
Does this affect small companies?
Especially them. The less there is online, the more an engine fills gaps with data about a similarly named company.
Noticed something?
Tell us what an engine claimed about you. We check whether it recurs.
A reply within one working day, from the person who measures.
